BISON USA is currently looking for a Wash Bay Attendant to join their Auburn, ME terminal. 

The Wash Bay Attendant is responsible for the company’s performance in terms of aiding with driver satisfaction and the efficiency in the Maintenance department. The Wash Bay Attendant is expected to be a team player and communicate with the Sr. Yard & Property Services Supervisor in a through and timely fashion. A professional attitude is a basic requirement along with a firm understanding of what constitutes good service to our drivers and co-workers.

Duties:

• Load and unload pallets.
• Occasionally detail of trucks/tractors.
• Clean grounds of shop & take trash out.
• Inspect lights, tires, mud flaps, and notify mechanics of failures.
• Customer Service: Drivers are greeted in a courteous professional manner and accommodated.
• Ensure someone is always at the wash bay.
• Wash trailer/tractors both manually and with automated equipment.
• De-decal retiring trailers (future possibility).
• Performing winter start-up operations - thawing, boosting, and starting equipment in winter months.

What Will You Need to Succeed?

• High School Diploma
• Previous experience is preferred.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Good attendance.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and lifting equipment (forklift).
• Ability to work in a multi-task environment.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Self-starter and ability to work independently.
• Completion of a drug screen and physical required upon hire offer.
