Senior Sales Executive
Bison Transport USA is looking for a Senior Sales Executive to join our team!
As a Senior Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our dedicated customer base, increasing sales revenue, and enhancing our presence in the transportation industry. You will be responsible for generating new dedicated business opportunities, managing key accounts, and developing strategic sales plans that align with company goals. This is a senior-level position requiring both a strong sales acumen and a deep understanding of the trucking and logistics industry.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Development: Identify and target existing Bison customers that can be converted into a dedicated model while generating new leads and drive the sales process from prospecting to closing.
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients. Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective dedicated sales strategies and forecasts to meet revenue goals. Analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and stay up to date on industry developments.
- Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations with prospective dedicated clients, close sales deals, and secure long-term contracts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery and meet client expectations. Collaborate with marketing and customer service to create tailored solutions for clients.
- Reporting & Analytics: Track sales activities, pipeline progress, and performance metrics. Provide regular reports to senior management, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve targets.

Required Skills/Knowledge

Sales Skills: Strong ability to prospect, negotiate, and close dedicated deals. Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, Appian, HubSpot).

Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of the trucking and logistics industry, including market trends, regulations, and challenges.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present to senior stakeholders and build relationships with key decision-makers.

Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to offer innovative solutions tailored to clients' needs.

Self-motivation: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet sales targets in a competitive environment.
Travel
Travel will be expected to customers and attendance at industry events. Estimate 10-25% time outside the office in the market.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in the transportation, logistics, or trucking industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, logistics, or a related field; OR equivalent work experience.
